Change ADO Source Dataset module

We have 80 ADO source datasets currently sourced from our DEV Anaplan model, with 80 transformation views, 20 consolidated transformation views, and 20 Snowflake outbound pipelines. When we move to PROD, is there a supported way to repoint the existing Anaplan source datasets from DEV to the equivalent PROD model while retaining the downstream transformation views, pipelines, and workflows? Or do the PROD source datasets need to be recreated?

You can’t repoint DEV datasets directly to PROD in Anaplan Data Orchestrator. You must create new PROD source datasets, then re-link your existing transformation views, consolidated views, pipelines. This way, you don’t need to rebuild the downstream logic—just remap the inputs.

In short answer: PROD datasets must be recreated, but downstream views/pipelines can be reused by re-linking.

Is there a way to duplicate all content from one dataspace to another? My goal is to maintain two separate dataspaces: one for Testing and another for Production. I already have everything set up in my Testing dataspace, and I’m looking to move towards a Prod environment. In this scenario, do I need to rebuild everything manually in the Prod dataspace, or is there a way to copy or migrate the entire setup?

In Anaplan Data Orchestrator (ADO), there is currently no option to clone or copy an entire dataspace from TEST to PROD.

You would need to recreate the ADO objects (connections, datasets, transformation views, links, etc.) in the PROD dataspace.
