I have a question about the new Expand or collapse grid rows option. Is it possible to publish a grid containing a 5-level hierarchy so that all items from levels 1 and 2 are always visible? And I do not want to use a filter for this.
Yes, it is possible to display only the L1 and L2 levels. Please refer to the screenshot below for reference.

I can see in the second screenshot you collapsed the levels 3 to 5 and I know how to do that. But is it possible to publish it like this? So it always opens this way and end-users can expand the rows.
No, currently the published page does not retain the collapsed state as the default view. End users will need to collapse/expand the hierarchy themselves when they open the page. If you need only L1 and L2 visible by default, a filter or an alternative design approach would be required.
