Is it possible to delete all these revision tags from a model and start fresh? My bet is , it is not possible and I start a new model:
No. Revision tags cannot be deleted from existing model. If you want to remove the revision history and start fresh, the typical approach is to create a new model (or a copy of the current model as a Standard model) and use that as the new source for future revisions.
