Hi Everyone,
We have a requirement in Anaplan Consolidation & Reporting (Fluence) where the Entity Structure needs to change effective January 2026.
The key requirement is that the existing entity structure should continue to be applicable for all reporting and consolidation periods through December 2025, while the new entity structure should be applicable from January 2026 onwards.
Current Entity Structure – Up to December 2025
Total Group
│
└── Entity A
├── Entity A1
├── Entity A2
└── Entity A3
Required Entity Structure – From January 2026
Total Group
│
├── Entity A
│ ├── Entity A1
│ └── Entity A3
│
└── Entity A2 Group
│
└── Entity A2.1
├── Entity A2
└── Entity A2.2
Key Requirement
We need to achieve the following:
- December 2025 and prior periods → Reports and consolidation should use the old entity structure.
- January 2026 onwards → Reports and consolidation should use the new entity structure.
- Historical reporting should not be impacted when the new structure is introduced.
- The transition should also handle the relevant ownership/consolidation relationships and opening balances correctly.
I would appreciate some guidance from anyone who has implemented a similar scenario in Fluence:
