If you build or maintain Anaplan models, you've probably hit the same walls I kept hitting. Some basic questions about a model's structure have no single screen to answer them. You end up clicking through modules and pages one by one, or writing API scripts just to get a list.
These were the gaps that bothered me most:
- There's no way to see which line items are used in page filters or conditional formatting.
- Saved views can't be exported in bulk.
- You can't check in bulk which line items appear on which pages.
- Model lock status isn't visible anywhere without the API.
- Action and process IDs don't appear on any screen.
So I built

, a Chrome and Firefox extension, with a lot of help from AI along the way. It opens a side panel of reports on the model in your current tab. Without any API setup or Password. It's built for model builders and integration developers who need answers about a model's structure without clicking through it screen by screen.
What it currently covers
Actions
- IDs: Internal IDs for every process, import, export, action and file, ready for API integrations.
- Usages: Where each action is used across Apps and Pages.
- Steps: The actions each process runs, in order, with each import's source and target. It also lists actions that no process runs. "Copy API call" gives you an Integration API curl command to run with your own token.
Pages
- Modules: Which Apps and Pages use each module, so you can trace lineage from backend to frontend.
- Filters: Line items used as page filters or for conditional formatting, each shown beside its condition and formatting colors.
Saved Views
- List: Every saved view, grouped by module, with its ID.
- Screens: Which saved view each App page widget reads from.
- Actions: Imports whose source is a saved view.
Structure
- Modules: Dimensions, time scale, time range, line item and saved view counts, and the App pages that use each module.
- Line Items: Format, applies-to, time scale and formula for every line item. Search matches formulas too.
- Lists: Parent, item count, and every list property with its format and formula.
Revisions
- Every revision tag, who created it and when, and every model it was applied to.
Lock Monitor
- Checks whether the model is available, busy, locked or offline. You can set the interval anywhere from every second to every minute, for up to 12 hours.
- When the model is busy, it shows what's running (a process, import, export or someone's change) and who started it.
Every report is searchable and sortable, and exports to CSV. You can also pull every report at once and download them as a single .zip.
Privacy 🔒
The extension is read-only. It never creates, changes or deletes anything in your model. It talks only to Anaplan, using the session you're already signed into, and asks for no password or token. There's no analytics or tracking, and your data never leaves your computer.
