Export Anaplan data via API

Hi all!

We have a connection via API with our client. They push data into Anaplan but now they request us to push data from Anaplan to their data lake. Is it possible to automate an export action, generate the .csv and client system get this files directly from Anaplan?

Yes, this is possible. There are two common approaches:

1. Client pulls the file: Create an Export action in Anaplan . The client’s system uses the Anaplan API to run the export and download the CSV into their data lake.
2. Anaplan pushes the file: Use CloudWorks (separately licensed) to schedule the export and write the CSV to the client’s cloud storage (AWS S3, Azure Blob, or Google Cloud Storage), where their data lake picks it up.
