Notification Step Not Sending When Workflow is Triggered by Non-Owner

Hi, I have the following issue with configuring a Workflow. I want to create a Notification Step in the Workflow where I assign users using the "Assign to users from a line item in a module" option. The step is configured correctly, but the problem occurs when I run the Workflow. When I run the workflow myself, where I'm "Workflow Owner," everything works properly. However, when someone else tries to run it, the workflow view appears correctly configured, but no notification is sent, and the Recipient field is empty, even though it was normally visible in the view.

I understand the error might be due to the fact that the user running the workflow is not the owner, but could it be caused by something else?

The issue may be caused by user permissions, workflow context, or recipient resolution, rather than simply because the person running the workflow is not the Workflow Owner.

Recommended checks:

1. Verify that the non-owner has access to the module and recipient line item.
2. Check whether the recipient line item contains valid users for both users' contexts.
3. Verify the Sync to workflow configuration.
4. Test with a manually assigned recipient to isolate the issue.

Most likely cause: The workflow cannot resolve the recipient dynamically for the non-owner due to differences in data access or workflow context.
