Security for Dashboards

Is there a way to limit access to Dashboards separate from access to the Modules that feed those dashboards? For example: I have a module that lists the sales for 10 stores. I want to create a separate dashboard for each store so when they log in they can only see their store's dashboard and not have access to the module that lists the other stores sales as well as their own.

It isn't really possible to define dashboard access separately from modules; dashboards simply get their access based upon the modules which have been placed on the dashboard.

However, could you just use list security to control this. i.e. have one dashboard but then specify against the store list who can see which store. In this scenario the dashboard and modules would then remove from view the stores which they dont have access to.
