Unable to create button to add new entries into line item by using action

Hi,

I want to create a button in dashboard for adding new entries to line items.

see here,

here i want to add new entries such as i want to add '9' next to '8' as ways for i want to delete '7'.

For this i want button to this action dashboard.

So while creating action.

I am unable to find this(Capex Inputs) in action window.

So please suggest me a solution in creation of this new entry button.

Hi Pradeep,

A 'Create' action button can only be used to create new Numbered List members with another list as its Parent Hierarchy. You can choose to upvote an entry i found in Ideas Exchange regarding the creation of a new numbered list without needing a Parent Hierarchy. https://community.anaplan.com/t5/Idea-Exchange/Allow-the-Create-action-to-work-with-a-numbered-list-that-has-no/idi-p/36224

If you still want to create new list members which do not fulfil the criteria above, you'll have to do it using 'Edit > Insert' as shown below, either on a published list or published module in a dashboard.

If I am using another list as parent heirarchy, then action button is working, but the data in modules taking parent as main thing, so data cant be seen. Eventhough it is working for capex , it is not working for marketing inputs.

Because, by default it is taking as new list parent so, the data can't be seen now.
