Display message on Period Level

Hi 

I have module which shows variance of data populated by month this module is published in the Dashboard.

and a Text message in the dashboard is displayed "Having variance" or " No Variance".(This is a different module) which works fine based on data available or not.

 

Problem here is, for example when 'FY17' or 'All Period' or 'Quarter' level is selected period from drop down, then variance message to be displayed is blank.

It only displays when we drill down to month level.

Can you make the summary of that Text line item(Message) to be 'Formula' and check it if that works!

You should get the result by changing Summary of Text line item from None to Formula as Kavin suggested
