1) I have created a system module but while creating the line items created are in rows, but I want them in columns. how to proceed to this.

Click the pivot option highlighted in red in above image, in the pop drag and drop the linitem tab into columns and the List into Rows.

And then to save the module view. Go to View -> Save
tick this option and hit the save button

In the grid view of the module, there is an icon for pivot,
This enables you to pivot i.e change view of the dimensions, just drag line items from rows to columns as shown
Then you can save it by view, save as default
