Generic Email ID used for Integration

Hi Anaplanners,

Need to have some understanding on the Generic Email id that can be used for Data Integration to Anaplan Models.

We are planning to use the system generated generic account for data integration to Anaplan Model from 3rd party tool, as per Anaplan policies that password needs to be reset every 90 days, will that generic email id will require a password reset? and if yes, is there a way we can automate so that passwords are automatically reset in time, and this doesn't impact any data from from source to Anaplan Model? As this generic email id will just be used for Data Integration.

To avoid having to reset your password you will need to use a CA certificate instead of basic authentication.

Also, you will need to make the system ID an exception email if SSO is being used. That is, you need to turn it off for the system ID.

Recommended approach is you go with CA approved certificates. These are more secure & reliable.

As per my understanding I don't think you can automate resetting the passwords in your scripts.
