MAILTO - CC users with selective access

Hi All,

 

I'm trying to add all users with selective access to in CC of an email to be send via "MAILTO".

 

But can't seem to get it working. Did anybody already try something similar?

You can achieve this by importing selective access to your module, where the "mail to" formula is written in the CC line item. Here’s how you can do it:

1. Create a Module:
   • Use a selective access list (e.g., P1 Product list).
   • Add line items such as Email Link, To, CC, BCC, Subject, Body Text (Text General format) and Send Email (Email Text Format).
   • Write the "mail to" formula in the Send Email line item as: mail to(email link, To, CC, BCC, Subject, Body text, send email).
     
2. Fill in the Line Items:
   • Email Link: "Send email to model builder"
   • To: "To email"
   • CC: Leave blank for now (will be filled via import)
   • Subject: "New update to the Reporting Model"
   • Body Text: "Hello, There's been an update to the Reporting Model. Please check it and update the model with your required actions."
3. Import Selective Access to Module:
   • Go to module import via "Connect to Model".
   • Choose the P1 Product Family list with fixed line items as Write/Read access.
   • Map the P1 Product Family.
   • Rename the action as "Import selective access to CC" and publish it to the page.
4. Publish the Grid/Action:
   • Publish the grid and Import Acttion onto the page.
5. Run the Import Action:
   • Run the import action and click on "Send email to model builder". This will send an email to the selective access in the CC field.
