Image links from OneDrive not displayed on boards (New UX)

HI,

When I am publishing an image from an internal shared folder (OneDrive) on a board I get below error:

I believe the issue is that my link generated from OneDrive does not end with the image type PNG, JPG, JPEG, or GIF, therefore message above. I am looking for finding out what settings should I request the IT Admin to enable so that Anaplan can display it. Uploading the pictures on a public image website is discarded as we need to store them internally. I am sure somebody else faced same issue so looking to learn from his/her experience.

About OneDrive, last time I checked it was possible to generate direct links to pictures hosted in there in the free version through the functionality "View original" (shown below)

But funny enough, while the free version of OneDrive features the option “view original” that generates a direct link to the picture that can be used by Anaplan, this option is not available in OneDrive for Business...

Btw, getting a direct link means that you can get something like this: starting with https as @JaredDolich said and ending with the right picture extension, for instance JPG.

some alternatives that you can try are:

opening an account in a picture hosting site, such imgur. That should give you enough privacy for the pictures hosted there.
store the images in other systems that can generate a usable direct link (i.e: begin with https://— and end with the image type PNG, JPG, JPEG, or GIF) for instance a CRM (Hubspot will work for sure)
store the images in your company's website (I have tried this with Content Mangement Systems such Wordpress, in the media folder of the website you can store the pictures and use them without necessarily publishing on any webpage)
check if your company is using any other system or online storage solution that generates a direct link for the pictures saved in it.

Finally, you can give some kudos to some ideas like this one from @usman.zia requesting the possibility to host pictures directly in Anaplan's servers.

Yep. Only way I've gotten to work is to put Images in a public domain that Anaplan can access. You probably already know this but just in case, they must also use a secure socket layer, or HTTPS:// Only exception to this is MAKELINK() function but I don't think that will work on images.
