What I feel is you are looking the result at the parent level and the summary is set to SUM. And that particular parent is having 4 children.
Anaplan might be calculating the 6/3 as 2 only. But at the summary level 2 is getting added 4 times(assuming 4 children) which results 8 as your output.
Correct me if my intuition is wrong.
