Importing data in list

I have just started L1 module and I am unable to understand the manual data import in a list. Can anyone please help

I recommend starting with simple data profiling as the first step for your initial imports and continuing this practice for all imports going forward.

Open your list: Check the list name, parent, and code.
Open your file: Review the column names, their meanings, data types, counts, and identify any missing values.
Map your data: Determine which column in your file matches to each item in your list.
