Hi,
Can I add create new item button for a List(not a numbered list).
Regards
Madhu
Hello Madhu,
The staging module could be without dimension or with a list with just one member. Not your list in which that you want to create a member.
From here, you take user input, then validate it, if the validation is successful, then you import this record into your list. I was suggesting this as an option, if the users are particular to have a button to create new records.
Otherwise, in your module, you ask your users to use the small triangle (elements menu) on top left, and then Edit > Insert. This will create a new member for your list irrespective of whether it is a numbered or non-numbered list.
Thanks
Arun
Hello,
Not possible, there is no "create action" for non-numbered list.
Rather you could build a staging module, and import from it. This process you can publish as a "Create" button.
@MadhabikaM
You will be able to do this in the new UX - New feature (Form Designer coming soon)

Hi @ArunManickam
Thanks for your response Arun, so what you are saying here is to add a intermediate module with my List(as dimension) and publish that to the dashboard, so that when user add a node that gets updated in the List?
If yes, why do I need a process here again to update my List, anyways it gets autoupdated on module level addition.
It is actually available now

I have A6 as the parent list and two sibling lists: A6.5 and A7. The A7 list includes an attribute that maps to A6.5. In the UX, the user will select A6.5 using a content selector, and the grid (dimensioned by A7) should display only the A7 items associated with that selected A6.5. Since the selector is a page context and…
A quick reminder of the Bulk Copy functionality. Bulk Copy allows you copy large volumes of data from one slice of a model to another in a single, optimised operation, instead of using formulas or imports. Use case: copy a version (RF1) into a prior year version (PY RF1) using a versions list to allow for year-on-year…
