Hi Anaplan,
I would like to know any word count limitation on Anaplan when we are import / create the data model ?
Reason of this question because I got a data table but it seem I can't import the lines if the words over 60.
Best Regards,
Kiwi
Hi,
the code and name of a list item is limited to 60 characters. Unrelated, but same limit for action name.
Not to a line item/list is 270 char.
Any other text field limit is extremely high so don't worry there
If you're really stuck on the 60 limit, we have all played with a left(x,60) formula with the long code/name x being imported first on a text line item then used to name/code.
kiwi.chow@huhtamaki.com I would also add to @nathan_rudman response that you should consider reading @rob_marshall post about how to get the most out of your imports - the 60 char limit is discussed there too.
IMHO, one of the top 10 articles written.

Since the selector is a page context and…
A quick reminder of the Bulk Copy functionality. Bulk Copy allows you copy large volumes of data from one slice of a model to another in a single, optimised operation, instead of using formulas or imports. Use case: copy a version (RF1) into a prior year version (PY RF1) using a versions list to allow for year-on-year…
