TLS 1.3 Handshake

Good morning everyone,

I have received a query from a client with regards to TLS 1.3, and as to why Anaplan only provides HTTPS access via TLS 1.2?

I understand that as of October 2020, TLS 1.2 is standard for access to Anaplan, and I was just curious as to if Anaplan also intends to upgrade to TLS 1.3? Are there any advantages of doing so?

Supporting a newer protocol version has to be done carefully as there is a risk that existing clients may be impacted; the test endpoints pointed to by https://community.anaplan.com/t5/Releases/API-services-endpoint-testing/ba-p/105724 appear to support TLS 1.3 so my assumption is that it will be with us before long.
