how to hide the unique identifier when we duplicate a display name in a numbered list
For eg. I have two line items display name as Brazil here as an example. I want both of them to be displayed as Brazil only and not Brazil(#17) & Brazil(#18) in the Tree View. The issue is only in the Tree view. When we use this list in a module, the display name is shown as Brazil only. The issue stands in the Tree view where we do not want the Unique Identifier to be displayed along with the name.

There is no way you could achieve that. If you are using Classic UX you may have to get used to it because your page selectors might be showing these # along with the names. In New UX there is no such issue.

Thanks for the reply. The issue here stands in the New UX only. The Screenshots are from the New UX. Any solution for this in the New UX?

Unfortunately we cannot hide the unique identifier. It will be prefixed with every duplicate name, otherwise it would be difficult for the user to identify the line item to work upon.

It's independent of the UX that you are working on, whether new UX or the old dashboard styling.

I was referring to New UX (User Experience, as in dashboards) and not NMX (New Modelling Experience). Whatever way you are opening the General Lists in backend models you will see that #
