CloudWorks: sequential process startup
Hi everyone,
In addition to the scheduled startup, please implement the ability to start the process sequentially.
We have 30+ night integrations and we've spent a huge amount of time setting up start times for each of them. Since the duration of each integration is not a constant value, but can vary widely (instead of 4 minutes it turns into 28 minutes), this leads to starting the next process before completing the previous one and generates a lot of errors in the data.
It would be very convenient to set the start time for the first integration and for the rest to start in a certain order when the preceding integration is complete.
I suggest adding the "After another integration" option in the "Trigger frequency" field and the new field "Select previous integration" (both on the "Edit a schedule" card). Please, take a look on the atteched picture.

Hi Golosov,
This idea will be useful for cases with a lot of integrations.👍

@golosov I'm hopeful that these types of enhancements are coming! In the recent Anaplan community event they discussed Cloudworks and teased a couple roadmap items we can look forward to. Check out the replay if you haven't already. https://community.anaplan.com/t5/Anaplan-Community-Experience-ACE/What-s-New-for-CoE-Leaders-Breakout-session/ba-p/152205

Great idea. I am pretty sure this other idea will have you covered and it shows that it s on roadmap : https://community.anaplan.com/t5/Idea-Exchange/Ability-to-combine-processes-across-models-in-CloudWorks/idi-p/112945

@Tiffany.RiceThank you, but this is a vital function for me, so I would like to emphasize its priority for the team.

I think it will be helpful. At the same time it would be great to have an option to trigger next job when current job finishes quickly than anticipated time so that we can give saved time on current job to next waiting job.

Hello all,
We are excited to announce that Integration Flow is generally available within Cloudworks. With Integration Flow you can now save time and minimize errors by daisy chaining multiple pre-existing integrations across models and workspaces.
Here are just a few of the key features that make Integration Flows stand out:
- Run integrations in a sequence cross-workspace, cross-model.
- Schedule the entire flow to run at a desired cadence
Try it out today:

Thank you for your continued support.
