Hi @ssk ,
Micro lessons during the course should help you with enough information and guidance to understand and apply these concepts to your project. Please revisit them in case you are struggling to make progress.
Just to recap, DCA allows us to define cell level read/write control, Selective Access allows us to define list item level control, and a role allows us to define access to model content such as modules, actions - for a group of users having common responsibilities.
Once you create 'Product Family Manager' role, you will need to set permissions for the role at each of the applicable tabs (Modules, Lists, Actions) under users menu. And then only you can expect the UX to reflect the content based on your permissions.
If you have any further difficulty, please be specific about the challenge you are facing. Happy to help.Cheers!

Hello @ssk ,
It is a bit complicated to give you an explanation without seeing the requirements.
In terms of access, there are 3 levels:
- Roles: Defined at the user tab and attributed to each user. Define access to modules.
- Selective Access is given from the user tab. You have to select whether the users should have access to a given item of a list - either read or write. Remember that Write is king and will overrule the read access. Define access to lists.
- DCA: The most granular way of defining an access. Works similarly to Selective Access in the terms of Write/Read and defines the access to cells.
With that in mind, and your requirements, would you be able to resolve it? Otherwise, can you please let us know more?

Hello @ssk ,
There is no landing page provided and it is not needed to provide the access. That was a functionality of the old UX in order to provide a landing page based on users. Currently we are working from new UX.
