Export User Access with Display Names of Selective Access Lists (if Numbered)

If in the system Selective Access is set to Numbered List, when you export User Access list, all items are shown as #NAME instead of display name.

 

Currently, on quarter basis we are preparing current user access lists to provide to responsible people. An it takes a lot of time to manually replace #NAMES with Display one, since otherwise the list is not understandable for people.

 

Being an Anaplan user, I would like to be able to select the type of name to export case of Selective Access set to numbered list (either Display Name or Real name).

 

Benefit: since we have a quarter based access review and have to provide a current view of accesses to business users, it will save a lot of time when need to replace #name with Display Names.

Agree to this post. We also perform bi-annual user access reviews and need to translate the #Names to display ones. Would be beneficial to be able to choose the display of the selective access numbered list similar to how the export of a module allows us to configure the display of list items.

Although not ideal, sometimes it's required to enable selective access on a numbered list.  First of all, you should be able to import comma-delimited text-formatted codes into the Users list to assign the appropriate list members to each user.  Short of that, Anaplan requires that you go into the numbered list and select the users that should be enabled with access to each member.  After all that is completed, in the User Settings only show the Anaplan unique ID (#54, #29, etc.) of each list member that is provisioned to each user.  I would like to see the display name of that unique ID, for clarity purposes.
