Recommendations to improve the user experience
Here is the Rep view in browser. Notice how nice the KPIs look really easy to see the vitals and move on. Here is what I see in mobile. Notice the space at the top for the company logo, the spacer card, the navigation buttons, the rep face (ALL of these I would skip for mobile). also notice how the KPI numbers are so…
I have a situation where I am hosting three KPI cards. They are each giving the same Line Item but for three different segments. I have been using Display Name to rename things like the segments. But the current way the KPIs are published has the Segment name in the Title of the KPI. I figured out I should move the Segment…
Example:
Would be nice to be able to do more of the page-related options here. I find that navigating the “Change Category” as a multi-step menu is clunky and frustrating. When the list of Categories gets long it is really easy to move your mouse too far and to lose focus on the menu I am envisioning that the becomes a This would…
This would let a suite of charts always have a common (but adaptive) scale. Connections with: https://anaplan.slack.com/archives/C0FE0624Q/p1621853124003700?thread_ts=1621853124.003700&cid=C0FE0624Q
Boolean T/F List Formatted LI = Specific List Item @eschera : Boolean would be great. Bonus points for being able to leverage a separate (systems) module to drive conditional formatting.
Are we expecting to get the ability to right click insert and right click delete on list members on a board? Like we can in worksheets? @eschera also suggests: In both Boards and Worksheets it would be great to make this optional per card.
It undoes all their work with no warning.
Right now the designer has to scroll through the list of Modules, searching for the right one.
Would it be possible to leverage some of the pixel-level design stuff from the upcoming Reports UX stuff to give us greater flexibility when designing Field Cards? I find a good use of a Field card is to allow both a Grid view of many Transactions and then the user can click on a single Transaction and see additional…
It would be lovely to be able to give a Line Item a new, UX-only, name when using it in a Graph. The same way we can rename a Line Item on a Field Card. I could see this rename ability either in the ‘Series’ section where you can recolor the column OR in ‘View Designer’ under ‘Reorder’
Allow the page builder to use an existing Grid Template to set the Data Source for a Worksheet.
When entering data into a set of Fields it is reasonable that the user will want to navigate to the next field using Tab. If the Fields are all Number or Text fields this works. If they end up on a List formatted Field then they can start to type an option, hit down arrow to select, and hit Tab Enter to move on. But now…
Here it is in Classic: And here in UX. Notice the Key I have highlighted
Either a single button that does this or let us use checkboxes to select multiple Classic dashboards at the same time. I would also suggest that we support importing of Content Sections as Categories and auto-categorize dashboards based on these Content settings. I could see that this might only work well if we supported…
Example. Here is a format I am using: This allows a user input cell to show up as pale grey when they haven’t entered anything and then to turn blue when they have. If I want to apply this repeatedly, to many different LIs it takes so many clicks. Here is another. This one makes things grey if there is no input yet and…
This would allow us to Name them so they show up in the right spot in the list of pages. And then give a Description that could be the default value when you add them as a ‘Quick Link’ or ‘Link to a Page’ This would reduce the situation where you need to edit the default value as it has sorting stuff in it. It would also…
It would be lovely to be able to specify that the data points show up for the Columns but not for the Area.
My initial reasoning was for demo purposes! But I can see value in allowing a customer to brand/color/skin their UX dashboards based on who is interacting with them. Helps to hone in on what level I am at and what I can do here.
