What is the small icon as the picture shown in the "1.3.6.5 Check Your Work", and could you explain why I don't have one?

This means it is not the default view of the module. It is created as saved view (or another view) of the same module

As @Misbah already mentioned it is saved view. Just want to add few points about the saved view for your better understanding.
When do you want to save the view? -- whenever you want to show only a selected line item or pivot the dimension or you need some filter, for import action then at time better to save the view by proving proper naming.
You can create a save view as much you can in one module, there is no limitation & also it's not taking any extra space.
Example:
Here you have 5 line item in a row but you want to show only 3 line items.
then save the view with proper name
