Filter window/panel should close when clicking "Apply"

The Filter window/panel should close when clicking "Apply", rather than having to also click on the "X".
As a user I want to apply several filters to a grid and then click "apply". With clcking "Apply" I expect the filter window to close, so that I can better view the data to which the filter was applied.
