As a model builder, some of the native version functionality is great. However, there are limitations that prevent it from being preferable in several cases. For this community idea, I am requesting the ability to have both of the below functionalities for the native versions in Anaplan:
1 . The ability to set a line item format as native versions: This will allow lookups off versions to simplify comparisons & scenario analysis across versions, without workarounds. Right now this is one reason we tend to leverage custom versions.
2. The ability to subset versions: This allows for better management of model size and performance, as we do not always need to include every version (sometimes only two or three may be needed). Being able to subset the native version lists for use in modules, without the need for workarounds, would be great. Right now this is also one reason we tend to leverage custom versions.
