As in Classic dashboard, we can open multiple Dashboards and seemlessly switch over dashboards without going back. This should be the case in NUX as well.

SO much, because there are 400 plus users and they are used to classic dashboard's multi tab feature.

What would your ideal solution be? How would it add value to your current experience?
I would add a small ribbon space on the top in NUX so that we can open multiple pages at once. It will save time by not coming back multiple times to open multiple pages
