Assistance Required for Understanding User License Roles at Tenant Level - Anaplan

Team - As per my understanding, user roles should work as described in the table below, but it is not working as expected.

Our expectation is to assign users to a read-only role to restrict their access to a specific model, instead of creating user roles within the model.

Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

Solution suggested by the Anaplan Support team :

At present, user license settings in Anaplan are not enforced. Assigning a license type (e.g., "Model Builder," "Viewer," etc.) to a user right now will not impact what that user can or cannot do. These license assignments are currently just labels — they do not change user access or permissions within the platform at this time.

However, Anaplan is planning to enforce license restrictions in the future.

Users will only be able to perform actions permitted by their assigned license type.

At that point, incorrect license assignments could restrict user access or capabilities
