Currently, model history in Anaplan is only accessible via manual export and review, which limits its usability for ongoing audit, compliance, and operational reporting. Users must download the history file and process it externally to gain insights into model changes, user activity, and data updates. Alternatively, they would have to reupload the file via manually or a script into a specific module for reporting.
Proposed Enhancement:
Introduce a native capability to report directly from model history within Anaplan. This could include:
- A system module or dashboard view that allows filtering and querying model history by:
- User
- Time period
- Action type (e.g., import, formula change, list update)
- Workspace or model
- Integration with UX pages to visualize history trends and audit logs.
- Scheduled exports or syncs to a reporting module for ongoing monitoring.
Benefits:
