In as much detail as possible, describe the problem or experience related to your idea. Please provide the context of what you were trying to do and include specific examples or workarounds:
Let's assume I have a module with Customers & Products dimension and line items Volume (Input), Price (Input) and Revenue (Volume x Price). The volume and revenue are dependent of both dimensions but the price doesn't differ between customers. Therefore, the price line item is a subsidiary view with only products:
As a user in the frontend (Old/NUX), I can only input a volume in this module and not a price because it is a subsidiary view:
As a user, however, I want to be able to insert a price in the same module. The expected behavior when inserting a price e.g. for Customer 1 would be, that this price would be shown across all customers for this product.
This would work similarly to if the price would be in a separate input module without the customer dimension.
How often is this impacting your users?
Every time an input needs to be made on a less granular dimension than the one from the module.
Who is this impacting? (ex. model builders, solution architects, partners, admins, integration experts, business/end users, executive-level business users)
All end users.
What would your ideal solution be? How would it add value to your current experience?
