Idea Description:
As an Anaplan UX user, I want to assign fixed colors to roles in chart cards, so that colors remain consistent across associates and months for better visual clarity and comparison.
I have Months in Line items and Associate/Role combo list in rows and based on associate/role combo list selector the card shows that particular associate details. If I select color a and b for Associate A having 2 roles. These colors should be autmomatically set for other associates having single role or multiple role, ex.- If Associate B is having single role, the color should be 'a' and if Associate C is holding 2 role the colors should be a and b.
Example of Enhancement:
I’ll know this is successful when I can manually set and lock a color for each role series in the chart, and those colors do not change when switching associates or filtering months. But setting colors manually for all associates is not practically possible, there should be an option if you are setting color for one series, it should set globally for all.
Benefit / Impact:
Currently, colors in charts change dynamically based on the associate or role selection, which creates confusion and makes it hard to compare role weightage across associates. By enabling fixed color mapping for roles, users will have a clear, standardized visual representation, improving data interpretation, reducing errors, and enhancing user experience.
