In as much detail as possible, describe the problem or experience related to your idea. Please provide the context of what you were trying to do and include specific examples or workarounds:
In the earlier versions (XLCubed and FluenceXL), users always started directly in the folder tree, whereas now it takes quite a few more clicks to get there (at any time when I want to see another report). Our customer feels this is a step backward and isn’t particularly happy with the new behavior.
Would it be possible to consider adding an option to set “Explorer” as the default start screen or to fix the folder tree anyhow in one of the upcoming updates?
How often is this impacting your users?
Every time on web when I want to open a report, also when I close one report with "x" I get back to start position of the folder tree, not the position I opened before the last report.
Who is this impacting? (ex. model builders, solution architects, partners, admins, integration experts, business/end users, executive-level business users)
business/end users, executive-level business users
What would your ideal solution be? How would it add value to your current experience?
adding an option to set “Explorer” as the default start screen or to fix the folder tree on the left side anyhow or having it like in last FluenceXL Versions that I have a button "Explorer" on the left side.
And "Explorer" should remember the opened folder tree from before and not always get back to the beginning.
