The core idea is to have UX Cards automatically update when the Card UX has changed: new line items into a grid or Field Card, conditional formatting rules change, etc when the same card is displayed multiple times.
Example: User Filter Cards
- I have the same User Filter card on 90% of my Pages - let's call it 16 Pages. I fulfilled a request to add conditional formatting for when my "Start Period is greater than my "End Period" line items. In the UX, I have to update the Page 16 times, either by creating/editing a template, dragging it into the Page, or just updating the Custom View that already exists - for this purpose, a saved view IS NOT an option.
- What would be better: I update the Card Template and it automatically updated all of the Pages where that template is used
- would be nice to see all of the Pages where the template is used then!
This would greatly help to ensure consistent UX for end-users, as the current process is quite time-consuming and greatly prone to human errors (Page Builder role)
