When importing Amount data, the periodic_Amount field is automatically cleared. This should be optional so user has control over whether this is cleared or not.
How often is this impacting your users?
When users have reports with current period data on it, there can be a short duration of time (1-4 minutes) where the periodic data disappears before being regenerated by the Run All - periodic step.
Who is this impacting? (ex. model builders, solution architects, partners, admins, integration experts, business/end users, executive-level business users)
Specifically noted for Teknor Apex, creates about 3-4 minutes of time where the current period disappears.
What would your ideal solution be? How would it add value to your current experience?
Simple solution would be not to clear the period data when loading. And conversely do not clear YTD when loading periodic. Advanced solution would be to make it optional so customers can decide whether they want the other data element to be cleared or not. This would then also be consistent with how other data elements are handled, ie conversion, consolidation, calculation.
