CoModeler
- Return extended results for model object searches
CoModeler will be able to retrieve more than 100 lists or modules when a user queries the model. This gives the user a more complete and accurate experience when interacting with models through CoModeler. - Cancel in-progress requests without hassle
Pressing the ‘Stop’ button in CoModeler will cleanly cancel the in-progress request, without any errors. After stopping, CoModeler will immediately be ready to accept your next prompt as expected. - Extended modeling capabilities
An iterative approach to giving CoModeler more end‑to‑end ownership of implementing the planning structures you describe in natural language, reducing manual setup work and speeding up model changes. - Create and update Time Ranges in CoModeler
With this change, CoModeler will be able to:- Create new Time Ranges directly in your model (Hyperblock and Polaris)
- Set key properties such as name, start period, number of future years and aggregations
- Delete existing Time Ranges directly in your model
This will effectively reducing manual admin work and keep your model’s time structure cleaner and easier to maintain.
- CoModeler can update your model calendar for you
This enhancement will give CoModeler a dedicated tool to edit the model calendar directly, so it can implement the time settings you describe in natural language.
Disclosure management
- Large image optimization for Word and PowerPoint
To create a faster editing experience, Anaplan will now automatically reduce the size of large images in your Word and PowerPoint reports. This default setting improves the performance of Refresh and Combine actions. You can disable this feature in the document properties at any time to revert to the original, high-resolution images for your final report. - Co-authoring in Word and PowerPoint
Enable real-time teamwork directly within the Disclosure Management add-in. Multiple users can now edit the same Word and PowerPoint reports simultaneously, eliminating version conflicts. This feature integrates with the native Microsoft experience, allowing you to see who is active in the document for seamless collaboration. - UI refresh
We are updating our user interface to provide an experience more integrated with the Anaplan look and feel. This refresh creates a more modern, cohesive, and intuitive application for all users.
User experience
- Configurable link button targets
New Page Builder settings to control whether your navigation and link action buttons open in the same browser window/tab or a new one. - New chart palette and grid theme
We're introducing a new system chart palette and grid theme that aligns with Anaplan's brand colors. This will not only make your charts look sharper but also ensure consistency across the platform.
We're also upgrading the color picker for chart series, allowing you to easily select a series color from the predefined palettes. - Hierarchy Chart filter
We're introducing a new native filtering capability for hierarchy charts. This powerful feature will allow you to instantly narrow down your data and focus on the specific areas that require your attention. - Simplified chart creation
We're adding a more streamlined chart creating process. Soon, you'll be able to create a chart simply by selecting a set of cells on a grid.
This new capability drastically reduces the number of steps required to visualize your data and removes the need for an in-depth understanding of the underlying model structure. This means faster analysis and more accessible insights for everyone on your team.
Workflow
- Workflow Standard: Builder undo/redo
Build workflow templates more flexibly with undo and redo functionality for Workflow builders. - Workflow Advanced: Batch approvals
A collection of tools, features, and settings to support customers with business processes focussing on the review and approval of hundreds (or thousands) of submissions:- New submission features to support users with creating multiple items (budget requests, headcount requests, promotion requests, etc) and submitting them into independent approval flows with as few clicks as possible.
- New template settings to provide builders with full flexibility over which processes have bulk approvals and which have immediate approvals.
- New email templates that bundle up multiple approvals and actions into a single, manageable email rather than multiple emails that clutter a users inbox and distract from where action is most needed.
- New review experiences for approvers to view, review, and take action across all of the submissions waiting for their approval.
