In as much detail as possible, describe the problem or experience related to your idea. Please provide the context of what you were trying to do and include specific examples or workarounds:
It would be great if we could format numbers (e.g. %, $, decimal places) within the charts card configuration. This is available in grids, but not in charts.
The workaround has been to create additional line items which have been formatted.
E.g. In my reporting module I have these dimensions: Site, KPIs (line item subset), and Time. In my KPI line item subset I have PBIT $ and PBIT %. My line items are Actual, Forecast, and Rolling Forecast, which use the Collect() formula. To show PBIT % in a chart, I can't use my current line items because the number format is 0dp, so I have to create new line items Actual %, Forecast %, and Rolling Forecast %, to use in my chart.
How often is this impacting your users?
Who is this impacting? (ex. model builders, solution architects, partners, admins, integration experts, business/end users, executive-level business users)
This impacts the model as I need to utilise additional model space to create these line items.
What would your ideal solution be? How would it add value to your current experience?
Utilise the same formatting functionality in Grids but in Charts.
