Current Behavior
Currently, captions can be assigned to members within dimensions. However, captions cannot be assigned to:
- Model names
- Dimension names
Enhancement Request
We would like to request the ability to define captions for model names, dimension names, similar to the existing caption functionality available for dimension members.
Business Case
Many of our clients operate in non-English environments and require localized naming conventions.
For example, for Japanese clients, we would like to assign Japanese captions to model names, dimension names, allowing users to work more easily and intuitively in the Portal and XL reports without needing to understand the underlying English technical names.
