When we are designing boards for clients we often have a trade-off between:
- Too many pages
- Too much information on the page
A really powerful feature would be to have the ability to show hide elements of the page (example: fields, cards, grids, charts or even entire rows) based on a line item that can be a user selection / calculation.
A typical illustration below:
- Users can create an event using different types of products MPL / EAN /BOM
- Instead of having 3 different pages for each type of event creation we put all 3 grids on the same page
- In order to avoid these 3 grids taking up too much unnecessary space we collapse them very small and ask users to maximize the relevant grid.
- This would be better if there was a selection "What product do you want to add?" and the page only shows the relevant grid.
