Anaplan Disclosure Management now has a refreshed user interface. The DM Web App has been redesigned with a cleaner, simplified look aligned to the broader Anaplan platform, with updates to navigation, iconography, and visual consistency throughout the application.
What's changed
The redesign brings the Disclosure Management Web App in line with Anaplan's established look and feel, rather than treating it as a visually separate product. Menu and header icons have been replaced with the standard Anaplan icon set, and static menu labels have been replaced with hover tooltips, so icon descriptions remain available without adding to the visual footprint of the menu itself.
Navigation has also been consolidated. The Home icon in the left-hand navigation bar is now the single, consistent way to return to the home page; redundant Home icons previously present in the View, Structure, and Data Source menus have been removed. Breadcrumb navigation on documents and data sources has been improved, and the interface for the user impersonation feature has been refined. For customers with access to multiple tenants, a tenant dropdown selector — consistent with Anaplan UX patterns elsewhere on the platform — now makes switching between tenants more straightforward.
Key capabilities
- Refreshed icon set. Menu and header icons now match those used across the rest of Anaplan, for a consistent visual language regardless of which part of the platform a user is working in.
- Tooltips on hover. Icon descriptions have moved from static labels to hover tooltips, reducing menu density while keeping that information a single hover away.
- Streamlined home navigation. A single Home icon in the left bar replaces the previously duplicated Home icons in the View, Structure, and Data Source menus.
- Improved breadcrumbs. Enhanced breadcrumb navigation on documents and data sources makes it easier to track and move between folder levels.
- Updated user impersonation UI. The interface supporting the user impersonation feature has been refined.
- Multi-tenant dropdown selector. Customers with access to multiple tenants now see a dropdown selector for switching between them, aligned with the tenant-switching pattern used elsewhere in Anaplan.
Why it matters
For customers who already work across other parts of the Anaplan platform, a consistent interface materially lowers the learning curve: Disclosure Management now looks and behaves like an extension of Anaplan rather than a separate tool with its own conventions to learn. That consistency matters most for teams who move between DM and other Anaplan modules regularly, where context-switching costs compound over a working day.
The simplified menu structure, with descriptions moved to tooltips, reduces visual clutter without reducing discoverability: information is still available, just not taking up permanent space on screen. Streamlined home navigation and improved breadcrumbs reduce the number of steps required to move through documents, data sources, and folder structures, which has a direct, cumulative effect on time spent navigating rather than working.
For customers managing multiple tenants, the new dropdown selector removes a point of friction that previously required more deliberate navigation to switch contexts. Taken together, these changes are designed to keep disclosure teams focused on the disclosure process itself — reviewing documents, managing data sources, and meeting reporting deadlines, rather than on the mechanics of navigating the tool.
