Start by opening the module that contains the data for your chart. In this case, open the Corporate Expenses module.Pivot the view to arrange the data for the column chart. In this case, Time should be in Columns. This will provide the x-axis of the chart. Versions should be in Rows to designate each series that will be shown on the chart. Line items and Total Company E1 (which provides Functional Group subtotals) will act as Page selectors. Ensure your model matches the view above. Then click OK.In the resulting Grid view of the Corporate Expenses module, hide the subtotals for each quarter, the fiscal year, and year to date, leaving just the individual monthly totals visible.Click on the row labels of the data that you want to include on the chart. In this case, select Actual and Forecast. - the two versions that the CFO would like to see on the column chart.Click the Chart icon and select the chart type from the dropdown. In this case, select Column Chart.Adjust the Chart Options as shown to place the legend at the bottom and to hide the labels on the individual data points.Publish the chart to the dashboard where it will be presented. In this case, publish it to the Corporate Profit Summary dashboard.Ensure that the Selection Options for the new column chart match those shown above. Be sure to Save before you exit dashboard designer mode.
