Extra Help - Downloading Course Models

Follow these steps when downloading the models for Introduction to Model Building.

    1. Confirm that you have Workspace Administrator status for the workspace you will be using. If you can see the Model Settings tab (looks like a gear) when you open an Anaplan model, then you have Workplace Administrator status.
    2. Click the link for the model you wish to download.
    3. If you are not already logged in to Anaplan, use your Email address and Password to log in.

  • If you have access to more than one customer account and/or workspace, choose where to download the course model. Click OK.

  • If prompted (you may not be, depending on your workspace settings), click Install.

  • Wait for the model to download. You may see a blank white screen for a few moments.
  • The model will automatically open on the landing page.

  • Follow the instructions on the landing page to rename your personal copy of the model.

    If you exit the process before seeing the landing page, you may still have already downloaded the model. You can check using the following process:

      1. Log in to Anaplan and select your customer/workspace or return to the launchpad if you are already logged in.
      2. Enter the model name in the search field.

  • If you have already downloaded the model, you should see its tile or name. Click it to open the model and begin.

  • Follow the instructions on the landing page to rename your personal copy of the model.
