Hi all - this work is currently in development and will be implemented to support list hierarchies when used on rows. We won't initially be building support for line item expand/collapse.
Expanding and collapsing is needed functionality
Expand/Collapse on grid rows is being currently developed for mobile users. However, you would be able to expand/collapse on hierarchical roll ups but not summaries.
