It would be good if you could choose the display name of a numbered list item in the Configure tab, as well as going to the list settings.
It would be nice to have the option to set the Display Name Property in the Configure tab of a list rather than needing to go to the general lists view. We can already select many other criteria for the list in the configure tab. At the time of checking "Numbered List?" in the configure tab, it would be helpful to also be able to set the Display Name Property in the same location.
It would be very practical to introduce the selection of the Display Name proper and the item for a numbered list in the Configure tab of the List menu.
This is currently only available when you select all the lists and select the list and scroll to the right.
That is one of the most frequently used selections in that menu with the Top Level and Parent. They are also available in Configure tab.
So Display Name should also be added to the Configure menu selections for ease of configuration.
This will stop jumping from menu to menu and loosing you first selection.
Agree 100%, every other step required to set up a numbered list is completed in the List itself except assigning the Display name. Setting this on either the Properties of Configuration tab would make sense.
Definitely need this feature, required to many click just to setup display name on numbered list
