Released:
Edit module names and notes in the New Modules Inventory
In the New Modules Inventory, model builders can now edit module names and notes directly in the Modules Beta experience. By opening the right-hand panel of any module, users can seamlessly update this metadata, making it easier to manage and maintain models for more efficient workflow. Additionally, the character limit for notes has increased, providing users more flexibility to document key details, assumptions, or context.
License Management Reporting
A new capability for tenant and user administrators will soon be introduced, streamlining license management. With License Management Reporting (LMR), tenant and user admins will be able to view, allocate, and track usage against the licenses an organisation has purchased. LMR brings transparency and control to license management-helping further optimise use of Anaplan.

Coming soon:
New 'Application Owner' security role
Anaplan applications are pre-built solutions designed to accelerate the deployment and use of our connected planning platform. In line with our constant endeavour to keep our platform secure and agile, a new security role called the Application Owner will soon be available.
The Workspace Administrator for any customer tenant will have the possibility to assign this Application Owner role. For any applications built on Anaplan's Platform Application Framework, the user assigned this role will be able to see the applications deployed to their tenant, initiate the generation of an application, and accept a new version update for each application. This role will further enhance operational efficiency with robust application governance.
Preview dataset when mapping to model or selecting for transformation view in ADO
When selecting a dataset to map to a model link or as the source of a transformation view, there will be the option to see a preview of the data in grid view or a definition of the dataset in blueprint view. This feature improves accuracy and efficiency during dataset selection-leading to more reliable models and smoother data transformations.
Improvements in Main Menu logic
Anaplan is improving the main menu to only show the capabilities the selected tenant has access to. This will be especially useful for users who work across more than one tenant, as the list of platform capabilities will now change based on the access in your current (selected) tenant. By only displaying the capabilities available for the selected tenant, users can focus on what's relevant to them at the moment, reducing the risk of errors. This makes the platform more intuitive, saving time and enhancing the overall user experience.
