July Product Releases
UX Enhancements
- Configure an image card | Anapedia - Use an image card to display a relevant image for an item on a page. For example, you can use image cards to illustrate office locations, products, or different employees in your company.
- Configure a field card | Anapedia - Add a field card to a page to focus the attention of users on a selected field or fields. Fields are linked to line items and enable users to edit the data value of the line item. When a user enters a new value, the change is reflected in related fields in the grid, in any related cards on the page, and throughout the model.
Workflow: We've improved the ways in which group tasks can be configured, making them more flexible.
- Group approvals - You can configure group tasks to jump straight to the approval stage of the task, allowing for "group approvals" to be configured while maintaining the ability to send work back to assignees should rework be required.
- Bulk notifications - Users who are assigned multiple subtasks as part of a group task can now be set to receive a single notification containing multiple calls-to-action, rather than multiple emails. This makes it easier for busy approvers to get notifications. It also makes it less likely that notifications will be missed.
- Assignment filters and assignment data write - You can configure group tasks to only pick up context items where a filter Boolean is set, and automatically write Booleans when your subtasks are assigned. This brings extra flexibility when using group tasks as part of scaled, scheduled business processes with multiple contributors.
Security and tenant administration - we've introduced a security role called the Application Owner. The user assigned this role will be able to see the applications deployed to their tenant, initiate the generation of an application, and accept a new version update for each application. Learn more about the Application Owner role.

- Anaplan Adapter for SAP Integration Suite - we can now seamlessly integrate data from diverse sources into the Anaplan platform and elevate your organization’s efficiency by reducing efforts to create a comprehensive set of integration workflows with the Anaplan adapter.
- Bulk processing with Workflow - Using a combination of techniques across module design, workflow design, and scheduling, it is possible to build a process that allows a user community to create new content that is periodically “collected” and processed in bulk – like a collection of order forms being collected from an out-tray at the end of the day.
- Start here with Anaplan XL Reporting - Get Started with Anaplan XL Reporting here and learn about: What is AnaplanXL Reporting, How does Anaplan XL Reporting work, Who is it for, How do I learn to use Anaplan XL Reporting.
- Comparing SAP × Anaplan integration: Why ADO is the right fit for planning scenarios - let's compare three integration approaches — SAP Integration Suite, SAP Datasphere, and Anaplan Data Orchestrator (ADO) — and explores the strength and limitations of each tool — and why ADO may be the most aligned for planning-focused integration scenarios.
