Please note: The information here is subject to change right up to release go-live time. This post is not a commitment to provide any features by a certain time frame and enhancements to the product may change before release.
Modeling (CoModeler)
- AI Model History
Model history will soon distinguish between changes made by CoModeler and those made manually. A new Method column will be added to the Model History log. Whenever an action is executed via CoModeler, the history log will explicitly record the method as AI-assisted alongside the user’s standard profile details.
This gives model builders and admins a clear, auditable trail of AI-assisted changes and reassurance in the intentional human-in-the-loop design of CoModeler.
Anaplan Data Orchestrator (ADO)
- Push down row filters for JDBC connectors through pipelines
Pipelines pulling data from JDBC Source can have filters configured which are pushed down to the source to limit the volume of data that is extracted and brought from ADO.
This reduces the need for custom views to be created in the source systems.
This applies to:- Databricks
- GBQ
- MSSQL
- MySQL
- Snowflake
- Pipelines Support decryption of PGP encrypted data though file based connectors.
File based connectors can now handle PGP encrypted files when sourced through a pipeline. This is available for all file based connectors:- Azure Blob
- GCS
- S3
- SFTP
ADO detects that the file is PGP encrypted based on the file suffix (.pgp or .gpg) this is stripped off and the underlying type used, this should be .csv. The file is encrypted with a public key and and only be decrypted with the Anaplan private key held in ADO.
Enterprise experience
- Default Context Selectors
Page builders may configure default context at the page level for individual context selectors, allowing those who design pages to establish sensible presets for different scenarios.
This feature enables end users to concentrate on the underlying data and content rather than spending time managing every individual setting.
- KPI Card Enhancements
We are adding greater flexibility to design and display KPIs. The new customization features will include:- Conditional Font Formatting: Automatically change the font color or style based on performance rules.
- Dynamic Trend indicator: Visually indicate performance direction with trend arrows driven by line item comparisons.
- Select a conditional icon indicator based on business rules
Workflow
- Auto refresh for UX pages
A new page refresh toggle in the data write task configuration automatically refreshes grids, charts, and KPIs upon successful workflow completion, eliminating manual refreshes.
Mobile
- Mobile UX: Zoom and Pan on Small Screens
Reviewing detailed planning data on mobile devices is now more fluid and flexible with our new zoom-and-pan support.- Dynamic Screen Scaling: Users can now zoom into any mobile page to magnify small text, dense tables, and detailed visual elements.
- Intuitive Pan Controls: Seamlessly drag and swipe across the canvas to inspect data outside the immediate viewport while zoomed in.
- Better Decision-Making on the Go: Eliminates visibility constraints on handheld devices, giving mobile decision-makers fast, reliable access to full-detail models anywhere, anytime.
- KPI conditional formatting on Mobile
Anaplan app users will be able to view conditionally formatted KPI cards that display the new trend and threshold indicators, providing a visual mechanism to help you quickly understand the direction of key business metrics.
