Use the screenshots below as a guide for completing Import to a Module.
Open the Price Book module. Ensure you are in Grid view. Click Data, then select Import from the dropdown list.In the Select Source dialog, click Upload New file, then navigate to the source data file: Price Book Actuals.csv.Preview the data in the File Options dialog. Ensure the Column Separators, Header Row, and First Data Row correctly match your data file.Map the Source data to the Target field as show on the Mapping tab of the Import dialog . Do NOT click Run Import yet.On the Time tab, match the date format from the .csv file to the options in the dialog. In this case, select Dates, and the M-D-Y Pattern with Separators. Do NOT click Run Import yet.Ensure all products have been matched automatically on the Products P4 tab. If not, click Map items manually and complete the matching process. Do NOT click Run Import yet.On the Versions tab, select Actual from the dropdown list to indicate that the data in the .csv applies to the Actual version. Do NOT click Run Import yet.Oh the Price Book Line Items tab, the initial view will show that Unit Price has not been automatically matched to the target field. Click Map items manually.Click Unit Price under Source Items. Click Unit Sales Price under Target Items.Once fully mapped, the Price Book Line Items tabl should look like this.Now click Run Import.19. In the Import Completed dialog, review the import results. Note that 558 cells failed for each line item. This does not mean the overall import failed. These failed cells corresponding to the unused data in the id and SKU # columns. View the Details tab to review the failed cells.Return to the Price Book module. Select the Actual version. Confirm that Actual data has been loaded for Jan 18, Feb 18 and Mar 18, and calculated for Q1 FY18.
