User Subsets

As a model Admin controlling subsets of Users would help with reporting and certain modules that are only required by a certain number of users. Currently the users list must be used as is so if you have a large user base, that could create very large modules. If there are specific reports that only certain users should be given access to AND the modules must have users as a dimension (in order for the total to be shown calculated based on what a user selects in filters); it can only be created with the full users list. Creating subsets of users would also allow for filters to instantly update in the NUX rather than using a fake users list and pressing refresh.

  • Would be nice to have User list subsets based on role, to reduce cell count.

My input users don't need user-based filtering like my reporting users. Including the full user list significantly increases the number of cells, limiting this to a specific role would help with mitigate this.

  • While the Native User list was a great addition - adding every user to the dimension that has access to the model make it almost unusable for large models with > 100 active users. A subset on this (either based on role or even just a boolean) would be very helpful to reduce size in some situations.

It would be really useful to have this feature... There are a lot of use-cases where not all the reporting modules can be accessed by all the users and when on a model where there are hundreds of users setup this generates a lot of not necessary cells.

It would be useful also to create users subsets manually like for any other list.

    Thanks!
