Anaplan Product and Feature Updates:

And that’s a wrap….well almost…there may be more updates to come in December but as we prepare to close the year here’s a summary of the feature releases by product category for 2024!

With the UX being how users interact with the Anaplan platform the updates by far top the leaderboard. Not forgetting modellers in second place!

And although we are closing out the year Anaplan remains hard at work on the future of the platform. ICYMI here’s a share of what’s to come with Anaplan’s $500m investment in multi-year innovation roadmap.

Here are some recent highlights:

· Filter across line items (end users) - End users can now apply filters across line items to a grid in boards and worksheets. Regardless of the datatype of the line item, filtering will treat them as numeric, just like in the classic experience. Filter notations have also been improved for cases where line items are context selectors, making it easier to identify and apply filters efficiently. video

· Expand and collapse in cells with list pickers - List hierarchies in grid cells with list pickers can now be expanded and collapsed, streamlining navigation for users. video

· Row and column formatting - Page builders can now apply row and column formatting, including number formatting, to a grid in boards and worksheets. This enables page builders to make individual rows or columns stand out in UX pages and add the appropriate suffix, such as %. video

Support Portal Update

The enhanced Anaplan Customer Care portal which was due to launch on 11th December 2024 has been postponed.

To ensure this platform exceeds expectations and delivers an exceptional experience right from the start, we have decided to delay the launch to January 2025. This additional time allows us to fine-tune the platform, ensuring it meets our commitment to providing you with a seamless and empowering support experience.

We’ll be sharing more details and resources ahead of the launch to help you and your team prepare. Thank you for your continued support and patience as we work to deliver the best tools and service for you.
